In June 1999, CSC Crop Protection and the Procam Group jointly announced the formation of Ceres Limited to define the way forward for  both companies. This partnership  creates one of the largest independent privately owned British ag-chem distribution companies with a combined turnover in 2006 of over £80,000,000.

The Board of Ceres established the strategic direction for both ProCam and CSC ,  it has completed  a common financial and management  control system and set up procurement integration .It has also  established common Board membership of the operating companies.

Both companies continue to provide the best agronomic advice in the UK of any supplier.

ProCam continues with its expansion in the EEC whilst CSC has recently acquired Crop Chemicals in the Lothians.
