Drem (Crop Chemicals)
Crop Chemicals is the latest addition to the CSC Group. They joined CSC on the 1st of February 2007.
Crop Chemicals has provided advice, supply and contracting services to farmers in the Lothians, Borders and Fife since 1961.
The technical team of agronomists have a wide knowledge base and offer agronomical solutions and expertise for combinable crops, potatoes & veg, turf and the amenity sector.
The contract service is based around five self-propelled 4-wheel steer sprayers which can be set-up to provide high clearance through to low ground pressure applications.
There are also two smaller amenity sprayers for golf courses, sports pitches and other amenity applications.
We can also offer variable rate fertiliser applications with a self-propelled Multidrive and Bredal spreader combination. This can also be set-up for high clearance through to low ground pressure applications.
The contract service operates a state of the art washpad and treatment plant for decontaminating sprayers, which was the first of its kind in Scotland.
Crop Chemicals developed and launched the SoilQuest soil mapping and analysis service in 2004. This service is now available through all CSC depots.
